Josh takes the egg.

The egg, for its size, was light, so Josh just hugged it and turned back for home. When he got home he had to hid it so his grandparents would not know were he went, so he hid it under the cabin in the dirt. Above the egg was the fireplace which kept the house warm at night. Every day Josh would came down and look at the egg, and every day the color seemed to dim, until the egg was not neon blue anymore but was like a navy blue. One day Josh came down and saw the egg was broke, he looked in it and saw a small blue bird, the wings were much bigger then the body. Josh took the small bird into the woods not far from the cabin, set the bird by a tree and wondered what to do.

      1. Josh leaves the bird to fend for itself.
      2. Josh decides to bring the bird food and water everyday, but keeps him in the woods.
