Everyday like clock work, at the same time Josh would bring food to the growing bird. The bird grew fast and learned to fly from watching the small birds of the forest. The bird loved Josh like a dog loves its owner, always trying to impress him or make him proud. The bird quickly outgrew Josh and the food Josh brought just served as a snack. Josh knew this bird was not a normal bird, it was smarter, stronger, faster and larger then all the other birds, yet this bird was well-liked by all the animals of the forest. The feathers on the bird were as blue as the deepest ocean and when Josh saw the bird flying in the sky the wings looked longer then the mountains themselves. One day after Josh fed the bird, the bird came close, looking Josh in his eyes, Josh peered into the bird's big blue eyes and, as if one of Josh's own thoughts, heard “Boy, jump on my back. I want to repay you for all your kindness.”
